From Naples to Your Neighborhood
'RowanMeadow started with an aspiration: to introduce true Neapolitan pizza to Rome. Originally a humble, family-operated eatery established by the Rossi family in 1985, we began with recipes that have been passed down for generations.
Marco Rossi, our initiator, mastered the craft of pizza during her stay in Italy, learning from renowned pizzaiolos in Naples, the cradle of pizza. After returning to the UK, her mission was to reproduce the enchantment of genuine Italian pizza, adhering to classic techniques and selecting premium ingredients.
From our initial quaint 12-seater restaurant, we have evolved into a cherished local favorite, yet our pledge to excellence and genuineness remains unchanged. We continue to utilize traditional wood-fired ovens, prepare our dough from scratch each day, and seek out the best ingredients available.
Today, 'RowanMeadow is still in the hands of the Rossi family, with the next generation now at the helm of our devoted team. While we have incorporated a few modern enhancements, the essence of our establishment is consistent: crafting delicious, original pizza that unites friends and family.
